Bombshell Valentine

This card is for this month's Bombshell Sketch on the Bombshell Stamps Blog.   With Valentine's day around the corner, I pulled out a classic.  She's the Bombshell Angel  wearing a gorgeous red polka dot dress cut using the Bombshell Angel Clothing Die Cut File

The printed paper is from MME's Lost and Found collection and the cardstock is from Stampin' Up.   The little circles on the front of the card are punched using a 1/2 inch EK Success Circle punch and topped with acrylic dome stickers from Stampin' Up from one of the Build-A-Brad kits.

The Bombshell Angel is stamped on Neenah white cardstock using Memento ink (rich cocoa) and then colored with Copics.  The dress is cut using Make the Cut software and my KNK Zing e-cutter.   It's then carefully shaded using a bit of Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Ink.

The inside of the card is simple with a subtle print, some shading, and more of those punched circles.

And here is Bombshell Stamp's February Sketch. Link your creation using this sketch to the Bombshell Stamp's blog for a chance to win a free stamp set.

Sunny Ride

I don't know about you, but I could use some sunshine with this dreary winter weather we've been having.   The days the sun peeks through the clouds here seem to be far apart.  I suppose it doesn't help that I spend daylight hours at work 5 days a week.  So to brighten up my day, I pulled out some yummy yellow for this sweet ride.

The card features the "Harley Bikes" set from Bombshell Stamps and is for this month's Bombshell Sketch challenge.   Check out the sketch and some other ideas on the Bombshell Blog

Here's this month's Bombshell Sketch.

Printed paper: Authentique

Devilish Layer Challenge

This month's Bombshell Stamps Pin Up, Jenn Cochran has issued a challenge to layer it up.   I took her up on her challenge and created the below card using the Cherry Bomb stampset from Bombshell Stamps.

Here are 5 layers piled on nice and neat...  a striped stamped card base, and embossed white layer, a tea mat, another background stamped layer and then that wicked devil from Bombshell Stamps' Cherry bomb set.

Here's a shot from the side and you can see the dimension.  Two sets of layers are adhered using some dimensional adhesive for eve more pop.

Banner Dragster

This is for the August Bombshell Sketch challenge.   I turned the sketch side ways and here's what I came up with.

Here's a close up so you can see some of the dry embossed texture.

And the inside of the card...  it's clean with a touch of embossing on one side. I roll the embossing folder into my Big Shot for a smidge and roll it back out. Kinda looks like tire tracks.

Bombshell Glam

This is for the July Bombshell Sketch challenge.   I tried repeating the same scalloped circle, but it just didn't do it for me, so I used an alternate shape for the center image.

The rose ribbon trim is dusted with a bit of Ranger Distress ink using an artist sponge.
Her dress is cut using MTC and my KNK Zing.  I cut one of the dresses from Bombshell Stamp's Bombshell Clothing file.

When I saw the sketch, I saw it as a perfect opportunity to do a bit of a fancy fold

And here's the inside of the card.

Supplies:
Stamps: Bombshell Stamps (Bombshell Angel)
Ink: Memento (Rich Cocoa), Ranger Distress Ink
Coloring: Copic, Spica
Printed Paper: Stampin' Up (Pocketful of Posies)
Cardstock: Stampin' Up (Night of Navy), Core'dinations Pearls (Silver Shimmer)
Tools: Spellbinders, Martha Stewart (border punch), Make the Cut software, KNK Zing e-cutter
Accents: Stampin' Up (flower trim), Rhinestones

Patriotic Muscle Car

Bombshell Stamps' Miss July, Michelle Giraud issued a challenge to get patriotic with red white and blue.  I combined that challenge with this week's Mojo Monday sketch (mojo300).   Here's the end result featuring the Vintage Raceway set from Bombshell Stamps.

I used a couple of star punches to add a tone on tone 3D effect on the background layer.   The below angled shot shows this a bit better.

Love SU dimensionals.  They're so easy to use.  I also love that they are half as thick as some of the pop dots at the big box stores.   Because they're thinner I can add two layers to a card. The circle is mounted with dimensionals and so is the car.   The car has single layer dimensionals on the front which is mounted on top of the raised circle.  The back has two layers of dimensionls to raise the piece to an even level.

Lastly, the inside of the car.  I just added some strips of paper turned into banners.   Great use for scraps.

Here's the Mojo Monday sketch for this week - mojo300

Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Crumb Cake, Whisper White (Stampin' Up); white (Neenah)

This card is also published on the Bombshell Stamps blog.  The Muse Monday set for this month is Mermaid Anchor.  Isn't she just gorgeous.

Butterfly Bombshell

This is for the Bombshell Stamps June sketch challenge.

I adapted the sketch a bit by elongating the primary shape so that it would be more in proportion with that tall gorgeous Bombshell.   I also flipped the sketch so the line of elements is on top.  I used butterflies for that.   Instead of just adding some bling to one corner, I decided that every corner needed a little something.

Here's an angled shot to show some of the dimension.   I cut two of the spell binder shape -one print and one solid.  That solid piece is then cut into four pieces and aligned behind the printed piece to create a shaddow.

And the inside of the card.

Supplies:
Stamps: Bombshell (Butterfly Queen)
Ink: Memento (Rich Cocoa), Ranger Distress Inks
Coloring: Copic
Printed Paper: Theresa Collins (Fabrications Canvas)
Cardstock: Stampin' Up
Tools: Spellbinders
Accents: Black Pearls, Nailhead brad sticker (inside of card)
