Butterfly Card Set

This is a very simple but fun card set that my daughter and I made for her teacher last year.

The stamps we used are by Stampin Up - Wonderful Wings.   We stamped the images using a brown Stampin' Up dye ink, colored the images using Stampin Up Watercolor Wonder crayons and an aqua painter, and then cut out just the wings.   On a simple white card base, we stamped the same butterfly again in brown and adhered the colored wings using Stampin Up Dimensionals (pop dots).   The cards were packaged up in sleeves and we made a box for them to live in.  The cover of the box has another card mounted on it with a simple thank you stamped below the butterfly.   The blue paper on the cover of the box is by Creative Memories.  The cover of the box is border punched using a Fiskars punch.  The box is then held shut with some silver Stampin' Up elasti-cord.

Simple but oh I just love how this card set turned out.
