Butterfly Red

I'm really quite late posting this.  At the beginning of the Summer I saw these moulds and white clay from Martha Stewart hit the shelves.  I just had to try it out.  I mixed the clay with some red ink and made this gorgeous butterfly.   I then colored the clay with my Copics and some sparkly markers.   Gorgeous!

And a bit of an angle for a better view.

Supplies:
Cardstock:  white cover stock (Hammermill); Real Red (Stampin' Up)
Tools: embossing tin (Spellbinders); mold & clay (Martha Stewart)
Coloring: dye ink, markers (Copic), sparkle pen (Sakura)
Accessories: dimensional adhesive.

  1. Hi Monika,
I love this card! Your butterfly came out beautiful! I also bought the clay and have been playing with it. (Stampin' Up version) I like it a lot. You may want to play with molding putty too. I bought "Amazing mold putty" at Michael's and I love it. You can make your own molds and then press your MS clay into them. And they are food safe too! If you liked using the MS molds you will love making your own molds. Again, I love your card. The way the butterfly pops is awesome.

    1. I'll have to try the molding putty. Thank you for the tip. I'll have to look for it next time I'm at M's. I know my DD will love it to. She's played with the molds more than I have, both Martha ans SU.
