Locks of Love (Before & After)

My beautiful platinum haired little 9 year old girl decided that she wanted a hair cut.  In fact she wanted a very short hair cut - like a boy.   Well, I wasn't ready for her to get a buzz cut but was willing to give her the short style that is easier for her to manage.

We cut a bit more than the mandatory 10 inches to be able to donate to Locks of Love.  

I also didn't have time to go to a salon.  Mommy was the hair dresser.  We've just been so crazy busy between work, soccer, dealing with sick family, and more.  If my little girl wants it shorter, I'll head to the hair dresser then. 

And a winning result.  She loves it.  She was tossing her hair about and staring in the mirror for the longest time.  I'm glad she's happy with the cut.   Can't wait to hear the stories about her friends freaking out.
